A Tradition Worth Preserving

The Carman Country Fair has been a cornerstone of our community for over 145 years, making it one of the longest-standing fairs in the region. While other fairs have closed their doors, we remain committed to providing this family tradition for generations to come.We also proudly support local community groups by offering our facilities for charity events, clinics, markets, and camps—equivalent to approximately $5,000 in annual donations to not-for-profits. Your contribution helps us continue these vital community partnerships.

Repairs and Upgrades

Our barns and facilities continue to be maintained to ensure the safety of spectators, exhibitors, and animals.  In the past few years, we have made numerous barn and arena repairs, installed arena lighting and shade canopies, repaired wash racks  and had a new mobile announcer’s booth constructed.  A new outdoor arena for livestock and equestrian events was constructed in 2024 in preparation for the RCMP Musical Ride. .Future funds will focus on critical structural and electrical repairs including replacing the lighting in our exhibit hall to be more energy efficient.  This will allow us to continue hosting events safely and effectively.

Looking Ahead to 2026

We plan to return to our agricultural roots by focusing on farming traditions and community engagement. To ensure financial stability, all future events will include sponsorships, and we’re exploring ways to increase revenue through additional event rentals and fundraisers, including raffles, auctions, and socials.
